Our live set has just got really good - I've written some heavier songs - and we're really loving playing live. Last gig someone reviewed me as "the female Jeff Buckley", which is just the most awesome comment ever. I'm yet to capture on record the same energy I give when performing - I just love it - it's like nothing else. And I want everyone to hear that. Jemima. x

05.10. I’ve had a great week. My big sis had a baby girl - I’ve had 3 gigs that have all gone really well - had some exciting talks with management etc - and bought some nice new boots!
It’s a typical Autumn day today - fresh with clear blue sky and vibrant leaves. I want to go for a really long walk…and I might, but I’m writing a song today. It’s the new one I haven’t yet started. Got a few others on the way, one called Desire, which I really should finish. Desire in the corner of the room…..
Seeing The Decemberists on Saturday in Bristol. I’m going to try and get my CD to them…any ideas of how would be most welcome!
Off I go.
17.09. New track Empty Love and new version of No More added...
Had a really good gig last night - especially considering it was our first full band outing. Even got an interview in a popular Bristol/Bath music mag out of it! Nice. I hope you like the new tracks. J.
15.09. EP so nearly finished and first band gig tomorrow!
Today is sunny - and I'm not going to stay in and waste it. I'm going to go to the sea!
25.08. No More: New demo - very roughly recorded. Currently in the studio with it.
The sun is shining where I am. It's warm and smells of summer.

New EP will be finished mid September. I'll be posting it up here and I'd also like to send a hard copy to all my believers - so if you like it when you hear it - just let me know and I'll send it to you.
It's all getting a little serious now - stepped up a level. I'm having meetings about copyright and all that scary stuff, which I don't know as much as I should about!
I'm also having a photoshoot done on the 8th of September, so it'll be cool to have some new pics.

02.08. Wow. What an amazing day I had. It's going to be awesome. Just awesome.
29.07. This weekend I've been listening to lots of Ryan Adams - mostly his first record Heartbreaker. My new song 'Two Lovers' has an element of country in it, see - and I actually really like it! I've recorded it with two acoustic guitars so far - I think I might put it up as 'work in progress' and then update it when it has a little more to it. It's about Ted Hughes - the amazing poet - and his life with two lovers who both tragically took their own life.
On a lighter note - I'm off to Ikea to get some bean bags and things. We're making our spare room into a recording studio. Nice.

I fell off a 30ft rock when I was doing an activity - and I injured my right hand - meaning I've not been able to play my guitar. But when it's better - I'll be uploading a few of my new tunes - they'll be recorded with just me and my guitar - but I want to see what everyone thinks of them...
