Simple
Harmonic Motion are a pop/rock band, formed in Potsdam, Germany, in
April 2006 by Lucas Günzel and Sebastian Reinhold. The concepts of the
band emerged at the time they played together in the local rock band
"Awera". In May 2006 Enrico Mothes joined. By September 2006, several
songs had been written, as a result of the collaboration of the three.
The band was eventually completed by Gregor Heydenreich.
January 2007: after some struggle, they agreed on the band name "Simple Harmonic Motion" which underlines the character of their sound. It was under that name that they first publicly performed the following month in Potsdam.
