Silverimage is a Norwegian band consisting of Kristine on vocals, Anders on all keys and composing, Eskil on drums and percussion, Johannes on guitars.
Our music is a mixture between many styles, but you could narrow it down to symphonic rock. We try to define our own image and ways of expression and hopefully have succeeded in doing just that.
Kristine and Anders started their musical collaboration already in the early 90s in high school, but it was just last year things started to form into shape by working regularly in Anders' studio. Then after a few months Eskil came along to add great sonic beats to the songs. A little later Johannes came onboard to do what he do best: guitars.
We also have a dedicated writer who write our lyrics; Gina. She's written all lyrics except for some of our oldest songs.
Our goal was intentionally to make a demo with four (or more) of our already growing list of songs so far: www.silverimage.no And that is still the case, UNLESS we actually reach the magical 50.000 here on www.sellaband.com. Time will tell... No matter what happen in here, we will go live in 2008 and perform for you guys - stay tuned!
The passion for music and the prospect of getting live on stage for a massive audience and give them a great musical journey is what gives us the fuel to go on.

We would just like to remind everyone that the music here and on the two other sites are just good demos - they will be re-recorded with real drums, bass and proper guitar tracks - as well as some additional percussion and real symphonic elements. Just so you know when you listen to these "MIDI-tracks"

In the meantime enjoy one of our latest songs, it's just a beta version without vocals and is due to a lot of change. But we feel we have neglected you guys for some time now and wanted to make sure your effort isn't wasted. There's also some new pictures out in the photos section.
Also, the believers will be able to download these new wallpapers to use on your desktops - if you want to :)

Today was our first day of recording the forthcoming EP. Eskil and Ingar did some very nice work pounding down drums and bass. We managed to do "Darkness" and "Standing in the Rain" properly and will continue with "Demon Nights" tomorrow. Pictures and some videos will come shortly.

We've been away and had a lot of other engagements lately, sorry about that. Anders has been on a three weeks long mandatory civil service training camp so little has been done in the studio. At the same time we are focusing on our recording session in october so no new songs will be out until the session is over. Although, we have been adjusting the drums on a few of our songs and selected a few to put out here. The tracks have been re-recorded with Toontrack's eZ Drummer kits, a lot closer towards what we hope to end up with in the end. Enjoy :)

I see a very positive development in the music of Silverimage. If the new songs are all of the quality of the recent songs submitted here, the album will be phantastic.
I hope you will make your way to 50k soon, because I would love to have a complete album with your songs.

Open Her Eyes goes to my top-5 of Silverimage songs, though it is very hard to put them in order, they are just so good.
I am not sure which version of Masquerade is the best, I'll have to compare them again.
New Song 19 has great potential, my suggestion for the name of it is Symphony Of Love and Hope.

Scandinavia seem to produce some of the best operatic/symphonic rock and metal, and this new developing band is no exception.

A goth rock/symphonic rock band from Norway (hello neighbour) which has some influence from Irish and Japanese music. Lead singer Kristine has a beautiful voice which can be described as a combination of Kate Bush (Darkness) and Celine Dion (Standing In My Rain). |

What a fantastic voice Kristine has - this band should go far. A little lighter than most of the gothic music coming out of Norway, but excellent nontheless. I think their sound is rather unique, but fans of groups like Edenbridge & Xandria ought to find something of interest here (and maybe all those folks that bought into Nemesea).
