Snelle Fellas are: Nolio (lead vocals, keyboard), Lexter (bass), P. Vunk (drums, backing vocals) & Stok (guitar)
Some more about Snelle Fellas:
- This fresh and enthusiastic band from the Groningen area got together at the end of 2006 just for the purpose of playing unpure pop music with a breath of funk, groove, reggae, rap and blues.
- Finalist of the Drentse Pop Prize 2007.
- In June 2008 they've been selected from over 400 entries by Erwin Sjoerdsma from AT Productions, Jan Willem Sligting from Paradiso and Global Head of A&R Adam Sieff, together with 9 other great Artists to go for a spot on the Paradiso main stage to perform live for all of you! They ended up 7th.
- They've played a great last show at Jazzcafé de Spieghel in Groningen, the Netherlands (see Video tab).

Our Sellaband 50k plan (concept, last updated April 24 2008):
- CD working title: "Unpure Pop" by Snelle Fellas
- We would like our regular CD to contain 11 songs.
- We would like our limited edition CD to contain 16 songs.
- Of
these 16 songs, the first 11 will be the same as the ones on the
regular CD, the remaining 5 will be bonus tracks for Believers only.
- We
will try to save money so we (in consultation with our A&R manager
and our Believers) can pick THE hit single out of the 11 songs, and
have a promotional CD Single produced, containing 3 tracks: the hit
song itself, a radio edit of it plus an extended remix. The extended
remix will also appear on the limited edition CD, being one of the 5
bonus tracks. We will use the CD Single to promote our music at radio
stations.
- We will design the CD artwork ourselves (will save money) and the booklet will contain all lyrics, for both the regular and the limited edition CD.
- We will rehearse and record all songs ourselves at our home studios first, as part of our pre-production process (will save money). After that we can discuss all recorded pre-produced songs with our producer and shape the final versions.
- We will do all instruments and vocals ourselves, so we will not need to hire additional musicians (will save money).
- We will not put anything other than music on the
disc. We're here to create music for the fans. Not that we're not good
looking enough for video material ;-) It's just that we want to focus
on the music.
- We're not afraid we can't produce 11 to 16 high quality songs, it's not too much for us.
- This will not be a mainstream album, but it will not be too freaky either. It will be an album that makes you - and us - proud to be a part of.
- No catch, we will do our very very best to make it as great as we can!
- All
songs on the album will be spiced up with our unique blend of
pop-funk-hiphop-reggae-jazz-blues-rock-disco influences and original
witty and/or emotional lyrics.
