Dear SolidTube friend,

a lot of updates this time. We are out of the "Wildone" Studio and have finished primary recording now. We can tell you, it was a blast and you can be as curious for the final result as we are.

Towards the end of the recording we did something very special, which was originally only intended as fun, but turned out to be really good: We recorded "Sunny Days" with a "Believer Chorus" with believers, who could make it to the studio in Vienna. Thanks to Bengelchen (again many thanks for your support) we have some videos of this:

Directly after finishing in the studio and a last joined dinner we had our "Heimspiel" (home game)  last Saturday in Gersten, Mandana's home town. What can we say: nearly 300 people came, the location was completly sold out, about 30 people queing coudn't get in anymore and the party went on until 5 in the morning, so lets book this one as a success :) - especially if you consider, that Gresten has only about 2000 habitants :)

1. Vienna Calling Update 

A lot has happened, since we started planning for "Vienna Calling": SolidTube has reached the 50k, Pete Strobl our producer has arrived savely in Vienna and yes, we have already started with the pre-production. Pete is still fighting with his Jetlag, but he is fit and confident to work with the band. Mike, Mandana and Pete have discussed some of the new songs and we can be courious if we will be able hear one or two of them at the Vienna Calling (That´s not 100% sure at the moment). Pete watched a basketball game yesterday, to see how his son is doing in the Austria Basketball league. Here are the rest of news at a glance: 

- Atmo was finally able to confirm, that he can be part of this concert. He will play one of his own songs

- the lineup will be: Rooga - Atmo - SolidTube - Kontrust

- Pete Strobl will play Bass with SolidTube: One night only!

- We can confirm that a couple of people coming especially for this event to Vienna: JohanV and Rey Gamba from Sellaband, Jügewara , Albert and MaWa to strenghten our beloved friends from Austria 
 

2. Details about the Artist/Believer meeting 

Alright, finally we have fixed a time and a location: we will meet at 11am at the "Bermuda Bräu", see details below. We hope to see you there!!! Due to the Press meeting, which starts at 3pm at the "Replugged", some of us need to break up at about 2pm. 

3. News about the press meeting before the "Vienna Calling" concert 

The title of the meeting and discussion with the media is "Internet and Artists - the future?". Aside representatives of the bands we will welcome some very interesting people and media representatives
