A few words about myself:
I'm a singer songwriter - a born and bred Londoner.
I've wanted to be a singer for as long as I can remember and though
classically trained I decided at the age of 14 that I wanted a career
in pop music. It's been difficult to avoid to be honest, my father a
successful recording artist and my sister working for a major label. So
I started writing my own songs and working with a number of musicians
and producers, and I slowly developed my style.
For the past year I've been
writing and recording these songs and playing them at a number of gigs
and festivals in the UK.
In addition to this I've recorded a duet with my father called Make It
Easy. This is the English version, but a French version's been released in France called 'Seras Tu La' on EMI as the first single off Dad's latest album, Tete
a Tete.

Strong songs, strong orchestration, a beautiful voice and a very nice looking Lady. I sure love the melodies that cling easily to my mind. No obstacles to hit the 50K sooner or later! |

One of the hidden gems on SAB that should've surfaced much earlier than now. A beautiful, authentic voice, classy arrangements of imaginative compositions and melodies. What else does an artist need to make it to the 50K? Probably only the ability to promote oneself and regular activity. If all these qualities are in place, Sophie Head will make it to the top sooner rather than later. |
