Stuedabakerbrown: One of the quickest rising talents of the NYC music scene. This group of fun-loving guys from Monroe, NY is the reason that many a fan has poured into show after show. Their toe-tapping blend of two parts rock n’ roll reverence, one part “anything else,” is rivaled in quality only by their propensity for having an infectiously good time.
Childhood friends Mike Esserman (guitar), Pete Marotta (vocals), Josh Pratt (drums), and Eric Sosler (bass) formed the band in 2001, hoping to show off their sound, have a good time, and get crazy amounts of hot-ass girls. Today, with their captivating original songs and a small army of the most loyal fans and friends, they pride themselves on their ability to instantly transform each stunning live show into the best party around.
Riding the coat-tails of an exciting victory in the Porky’s New York City Battle of the Bands, Stuedabakerbrown has added guitarist and old friend Steve Kondracki to the lineup and plan to continue expanding their musical sphere of influence to more people and across greater distances in 2007.
You can catch the guys this winter and coming spring at venues in and around New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Albany, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."
