The Secret 6, a band with an orginal style of Pop Dance Rock are currently in the studio nearing the completion of their eagerly anticipated, first full-length album slated to be released in February 2008. This is only the beginning for the dynamic foursome originally out of Long Beach who has been labeled by Indie 103.1 FM as the next ‘Buzz Band’ to watch in 2008. The Secret 6 single “Give In”, a melodic pop song with melancholy vocals will be featured in the World wide release of the major motion picture ‘Penelope’ (Stone Village Pictures), starring Christina Ricci and Reese Witherspoon to be released in theatres this February 2008. Alternatively songs from the album will include, “1992”, “Last Dance” and fan favorite “Familiar” a song that has received radio play on the two most popular music stations in Los Angeles, Indie 103.1FM and KROQ 106.7FM. In 2006-07 the band had a jam packed tour schedule in the greater Los Angeles area and participated in two radio-sponsored events for Los Angeles’ own Indie 103.1 FM. They also played a live on-air performance at one of the only FM college radio stations in Los Angeles, 89.9 KXLU FM. The Secret 6 will once again hit the road in late-winter after there debut release for the North American portion of the tour through the end of the year.
