The Sick-Leaves is singer/songwriter/guitarist/bassist Eksteen Jacobsz.
It all started with the influences of Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Who and the Jesus and Mary Chain. What followed was a few rehearsals, gigs, whirlwind tours, a bit of rock and a lot of roll, music industry politics and loads of sick leave from work.
The Sick-Leaves' debut album Tunnel Vision was released in March 2006 and was nominated for Best Alternative Album at the 2007 South African Music Awards.
The Sick-Leaves have completed their second album, Stone the Crow, and was released June 30th 2008.
