Thomas Cajal, french deejay, producer and remixer based in Barcelona, started his mixing career in the city of Nice (Cote dAzur, France). Guest Deejay of many clubs around, he created the DJ duo French Clones with Florian Gasp鲩ni. In the year 2000, both djs moved to Barcelona, Spain where they started mixing at the infamous European club TORRES DE AVILA, a club built inside an old castle and located on the top of Montjuich Mountain and enjoying the most spectacular views of the city.

The French Clones begin their production in 2001 and produced Disco Mafia for Sushi Recordings, a label owned by Mikel Molina one of the most respected deejays in the Spanish house scene. Because of the success of their first record they became guest deejays of many clubs in both Spain and France.

During 2003, Thomas Cajal moved back to France for a collaboration with Hit Sound Production and Brioche (Easy Love, Gusto), and did the second 12" called Super Size this time for Cassagrande ( Metropol Records.), getting the track be selected for compilations in Spain. After that they produce the third and ultimate French Clones record titled Big Stand Up releasing it up with mixes by Juan Magan, another Spanish producer really respected in both Spain and France.

The return of Thomas Cajal to Spain is inspired by his new collaboration in 2005 with another Spanish International DJ & Producer Willy Sanjuan, owner of MOLACACHO RECORDS, the label that released the first solo project of Thomas. Runaway, a contemporary vision of the Bronski Beats classic Smalltown Boy that Willy Sanjuan remixed himself . At the same time Thomas was releasing his project on MOLACACHO RECORDS he teamed up with Willy Sanjuan for producing different remixes and new projects. As a result, remixes for Inaya Day, the polish producer Dervish or the Italian Molacacho artist ALEX JR.

For Winter 2006 Thomas Cajal make a new track with Fede G "LETTING THE CABLES SLEEP Feat Storm" who's sign in Aftersun Records new label in Barcelona... The track are on the compilation Matin饠group Winter 2006.

Expect more tracks from this unstoppable young producer that promised not to give up in the next one or two hundred years.

Hi Thomas... I already heard your 'Letting the Cables Sleep' and 'Run Away' on dutch radio! So you certainly don't 'need' Sellaband but cool to see you here anyway!

If you have the time, come and check out my tracks... I'd apreciate your comments!
