TICO*VERDE is a Dutch pop/rock band who have been around for over 8 years now. The current lineup consists of: Lars Kroos: vocals, Tom Klijzing: bassguitar/vocals, Martijn Swier: guitar, Jochem Pennekamp: guitar/vocals and Jeroen Mazereeuw: drums.
Impression
March of 2008 saw the release of their latest EP, entitled “Impression”. This EP clearly shows the variety of influences the band has to create their unique pop-rock sound. Singer Lars Kroos: “We wanted to show people what we sound like on stage. We have succeeded perfectly at the Bullet Sound Studios. It sounds exactly what we love doing most: playing live.”
The past few years have been very successful for the band, especially given the fact that they are managing and booking themselves. They played at major festivals in- as well as outside The Netherlands and opened for Silverchair (at the famous Dutch Paradiso), Keith Caputo, Venice and several big Dutch acts such as De Dijk, The Sheer, Green Lizard and many more.
TICO*VERDE’s music can best be described as melodic popsong with an “edge” to it. Some people compare it with Foo Fighters, others with Saybia or John Mayer. What they all have in common are inspiring and melancholic songs with a rock edge to it. A performance by TICO*VERDE is an event not to be missed!

Yes! Finally the new EP is released! You can listen to our new tunes here!
This coming Saturday ( March 29th, we will be playing on dutch national readio station Radio 2 (16.00hrs - 18.00hrs). Check out our new songs there as well!
Furthermore, te coming months we will be promoting our new EP "Impression" on local ánd national radio as well as doing a college tour in May/June.

Last weekend we spent some time in Bullet Sound Studios recording some new material....first results are very promising! We'll keep you up to date on the progress...!

Wow! What a show in Paradiso last night! The adrenaline is still rushing through our veins...and it will be for some days....for sure!
No time for resting though....coming Thursday we will be doing a gig in Volta, Amsterdam and after that on Saturday we will be in the studio recording some new material....
all in all a week to remember...and it has only just begun!
