Formed by the brazilian musicians Fabio Lopes (voice/acoustic guitar), Marcelle Chagas (voice/harp) and Rafael Cheib (guitar/acoustic guitar), Trio Amadeus appeared in October 2003 with a novel proposal: to rescue erudit music of consecrated composers such as Bach, Mozart, Bizet, giving them a more popular and contemporary interpretation; and to present its own compositions. This modern aproach of erudite music was achieved by the usage of electric and acoustic guitar instead of the orchestra traditional instruments. The arrangements preserve the original music structure, but the modern instruments give a popular tone to the songs. This transformation brings up old music of quality to people's universe.

Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."
