Late in 2005 four young men of high ambition formed a band called Volcanoes. Emerging from acoustic roots the band soon diverged into rock, blues and indie; developing a style that is highly individual and dynamic. The four lads have never taken things too seriously and their ethos has remained simple; to have fun and to write great songs. The band are now entering their third year together full of ideas and aiming high. New tunes are flying out of their practice sessions and they are all over the UK gigging and going down a storm. Volcanoes have remained slick, upbeat and focused, sure that they are destined for better things.

Volcanoes draw influences from many bands both old and new. They adore their music and try to write tunes that will stand the test of time. Their style is constantly evolving, not knowing what’s gonna come next with them has made them so unique. Often they produce pumped up indie tunes but occasionally they are dark and moody allowing their lyrics to shine > they are always irresistible. Volcanoes have so much flare and energy that it’s hard to not be taken in by them.

Playing live has always been a forte of the band, with the irresistible swagger of frontman Samson Bedford the band are explosive on stage. They have charisma by the ton, this is a band that can’t wait to get the crowd going - it’s what they live for and they love it.

Volcanoes turn heads, they sound sweet and they shake hips.
