Winter Circle has your fix. This heart-on-sleeve band has grown from
being a local Oklahoma City favorite to a nationally-known
hook-filled, energetic, anthemic, radio-ready rock band. With its
heartfelt sing-along choruses, catchy guitar grooves and
straightforward pop-inspired rock, Winter Circle will burn its brand
of contagious pop-rock into your brain to linger for days.
In less than a year and a half Winter Circle has risen to share the stage with such acts as Sum 41, Hawthorne Heights, Unwritten Law and Hinder, and become an in-demand attraction at major rock events, playing showcases at the North Texas New Music Festival (Dallas), Hyperactive Music Festival (Albuquerque), DIVERSAFEST (Tulsa) and Dewey Beach Music Festival (Delaware). They have earned commercial radio support from their hometown Clear Channel radio station KHBZ 94.7FM where their first recorded single, "Don't Go", won heavy rotation. In addition Indie 104.7FM (Los Angeles, CA), KYIS 98.9FM (OKC, OK), KWDQ 102.3 FM (Woodward, OK) and KMYZ 104.5 FM (Tulsa, OK) have all broadcasted the band's contagious anthems. In December of 2005, the band was featured on XM Satellite Radio's R>A>D>A>R Report and their songs were placed in rotation on XMU 43 & Unsigned 52. Winter Circle's music has been featured in MTV's "The Gauntlet II," "The Real World-Key West" and "Cheyenne." "Streetlight Flicker," the first track from their latest release The Huge and Hopeful, hit #1 on the Power Pop charts on Garageband.com in May of 2006 and is ranked #12 All Time in Power Pop.
Bursting at the walls of their local scene and ready to take their sound to the masses, Winter Circle is initiating a 300-station college radio campaign in August of 2006. Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."

Dear colleagues and friends;
In the last weeks after entering SellaBand, many good things happened to me. From all around the world people buy ‘parts’ and send exciting invitations to come to Europe and US to perform. I am completely overwhelmed and had never expected this could be possible, although I dream all my life to become a good and renowned record artist. At my page you can read about me and listen to my music. Recently I have recorded SAVE THE CHILDREN, a song to attract the attention of the international media to the desperate situation of children who are victims of war in Africa (myself I was on the run from childhood for 15 years, I know what they go through!). Willem-k suggested to release SAVE THE CHILDREN before Christmas and that inspired me to invite SellaBand members from all continents to join me in a possible remix. How to do so I hope to hear from you and especially from panel experts and Believers. If you like the idea please send your comments and proposals to me, and I or my pal Willem will respond a.s.a.p.
