Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."
Hope you join in on the fun and GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!

Really beautiful voice with nice music. And your "2 min" concept is quite interesting.
Well ... the two present songs are not even 2 minutes long ! I like "Take you leave" a lot. I can even hear a door slam at the end !

My previous comment was half serious and have having fun with the idea of people's short attention spans.
On a serious note: I think your music is really cool and it all stems from your voice - love it. And your profile photo is really eye catching too - difficult to forget.
And well done on getting mentioned in Tribune.
Cheers

Love the voice.
I have a question: How does one easily condense the material you could use for a four minute song into the space of just two minutes for those people out there whose attentions spans have been shortened over the years through over exposure to soundbites and 15 second TV commercials without sacrificing the ... er ... I'm sorry I've completely lost track of what I was going to say.
Welcome to SAB fellow newbie.

Great voice! 2 Minute songs, that'll be a good length for music on the radio. If I'd be a Radio DJ I would then play 2 songs of the same artist back to back, to show more than one aspect of that artist (provided the artist includes more styles on his/her CD). Variety is the key when you publish your "Songs for 2 Minutes" Album. Not too many Jazz-songs though, that's not always what people like to listen to on the regular Radio shows.
