June 08 Zephyr has now been in the We7 Download Charts for three months! Spiritus Sanctus was at No.2 in the first two weeks of June. This site, founded by Peter Gabriel, gives music downloads legally for FREE. Zephyr was created by London-based composer and producer Elizabeth Henshaw in 2001 and involves musicians from a variety of backgrounds. Two albums have been released by ORiGiN Music and a third is in the pipeline.
Elizabeth trained classically as a pianist and began writing at the age of seven. She developed a keen interest in the music of other cultures which has influenced her writing considerably. Elizabeth's music is recognised both for its melodic strength and its rhythmic and metric sophistication.
Both albums became favourites on ABC Classic FM (Australia) and have been used widely in Australian TV series' as well as continuing to feature on a number of international compilations.
Elizabeth has worked with EMI Classics UK, having her song 'Prayer' featured as the first track on Becky Jane Taylor's album 'By Your Side'.
In 2007 'Flame' was released in South East Asia, distributed by Universal.

Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."
