BPM is going to blow your minds!
Last Friday we saw the ending of the longest countdown to 50k so far. In the early morning Gigi bought the last remaining Part, making BPM the 11th Artist to reach the $50.000 this year and the 12th in total. During their somewhat longer than normal road to 50k BPM succeeded to become the first Artist to have more than a 1.000 different Believers. The end score is 1171 Believers! Of course we've asked the guys to respond to this early Xmas gift:

Wow! What an experience this has been. We (everyone in the band except Marcus because he ungrateful.... just kidding) would first and foremost like to thank everyone that believed in us. A band's success depends on how many people truly believe in them and admire their work. It's hard to find people who will literally put their money where their mouth is in support of their beliefs. Over the past 9 months or so, we've learned that there actually are people that believe in what we do, and that is an amazing feeling, and we'd like to thank you all for that. Oh, and thanks to all the geniuses at Sellaband for coming up with such an amazing way to get amazing music into the hands of amazing people.

This experience has been an "interesting" one, that is for sure (or for "sho", however you like to say it). From London Calling (thank you Brian from Vegas Dragons for pointing out our alcoholism (despite the 2-1 exchange rate and increased cost of beer we made the Irish proud haha), to our goal to have 1000+ believers before we hit our 50k and all the "fun" stuff in between. At the end of the day, we can look back on this experience as nothing but good times and achieved goals. We hope those experiences were just the tip of the iceberg and that we will be performing for all of you and seeing everyone shortly!
Now, time to address something that I know every believer has pondered at one point, or many points time and time again; our album with Sellaband. Six words.... PREPARE. TO. HAVE. YOUR. MINDS. BLOOOWWWWWNNNN.LOL (lol would make it 7 but whose counting) In all seriousness we do plan on delivering some music that all of you will surely enjoy. As we have said before, our game plan is to make the best album we can, and try to step it up a level above our current release.
So here we go again, not on our own, but with the never ending support we have come to known (a little pun for all you WhiteSnake fans out there), to record a killer album for some killer fans.

What a wonderful year
It's been an amazing year with many SellaBand highlights. The year started in a great way with the first ever official SellaBand gig. The New Year's Party at the Paradiso turned out to be a wonderful experience for all who attended and for those who watched it at Fabchannel.
In the months that followed we saw many artists reaching the 50k, and a couple of them were already working hard in the studios. In June we brought the SellaBand experience to London. In a packed and sweaty Gibson Guitar Studio you, Artists and Believers, showed England what a fantastic community this is.
At the end of June the first two SellaBand albums saw the light. A very special moment for Cubworld, Nemesea, all their Believers but also for us here at the SellaBand HQ. This is where we started the company for, and the results made us proud, really proud.
In August we returned at the Paradiso, but now the main hall, to celebrate, ehh sorry, to SellaBrate, our first anniversary. And what a birthday party it was! More than a thousand happy people watching performances of SellaBand's finest.
In October we welcomed nr. 10: Francis Rodino was the tenth artist to reach the 50k. In the meantime Sellaband closed deals and partnerships with more and more companies like AT Publishing, Roughtrade Distribution, The Orchard and just before Christmas Heineken and Amazon.
With such a great year, almost, behind us it's not going to be easy to do it better next year. But we Believe that with all we've done and accomplished in 2007, we're ready to make 2008 a super SellaBand year. And that everybody wants to be Part of it.
The best of Office Powerplay

Dagmar: Trail - City (demo version)
